  • Point Brugge Café, Chetan (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
We used to live down the street from the point restaurant. In fact we saw the whole place being redone and the restaurant being opened. Great food/drink, attention to detail with ingredients and excellent service. We didn't realize how nice we had it until we moved away. So I only ate there about 3 or 4 times total. Highly recommended.

This is Riverfront Park. the boat launch is just a small part of it. There's ducks, geese, picnic tables and a bike trail.

good luck trying to get gas here during the evening rush. it's way too crowded! one time, my car died just feet from the pump so i had to push it up moorewood. i finally got to the pump and realized i was at the pacific pride pump. just my luck. instead of getting gas, i took my eight dollars and went to the cricket to ogle that joey chick i've see in the city paper ads. i love this intersection.
  • The Decade, ben (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
for a while, it was "cumpie's", a great place to drink underage. then they lost their liquor license and became "cumpie's produce stand". then they reopened. a former cop bought them out and renamed the place "oakland cafe." the decade is now known as "garage door saloon".

People drive up and down that street in winter. It's crazy! Also, I was just looking at Dunedin New Zealand. What a crazy coincidence.

  • Three Rivers Stadium (site), Dominic (guest) wrote 19 years ago:
I used to go to this stadium all the time. It was amazing. The feeling that it invoked was nothing less than spectacular. The astroturf field and the seats that were high up offered the best experience as a child that I can remember.
