Allegheny Center Neighborhood,

A vast, empty, bleak, untraversible office development girded by a mindnumbing one-way traffic system. Successfully gutted old Allegheny City as a viable community and effectively bars the northside of Pittsburgh from convenient access to the north shore and downtown. A civilized society would raze it, or at least get rid of the dumb one-way maze.

W.R.T. the previous comment, I feel the establishment is more of a flaw in the diamond. It would be much more lovely to have a park or even an open lot between two churches instead of a fast-food restaurant. This is coming not from a religious zealot but an atheist.

It was the train station. Actually the marker is over the rotunda, which was added after the building ceased to be the train station. It's a historic building that is not actually open to the public... I work here.

So named because the monument (an art piece only not a real monument to anything) features four large black balls supporting the obelisk.

One of the best views of Pittsburgh - you look down the centerline of the Golden Triangle, with the city perfectly centered around Point State Park. This park was recently renovated, too.
